When you travel abroad, one of the things I notice is that some of the currencies in other countries looks so much more interesting and appealing than US bills. There are various textures, materials, and colors. I wanted to try my hand at creating my own view on the US currency.
The idea of this project is fairly simple— design a new look for US dollar bills with the idea that it would actually be circulated. I wanted an update of our currency as opposed to a complete redesign. I felt that any drastic redesign of our money would cause confusion in the public. So, basically, I wanted the end result to still have a similar feel
